Where do your events take place?
Our meet ups currently take place in Cape Town, South Africa. Our members are based all over the Peninsula and surrounds, so we vary locations as often as possible to ensure members experience meet ups in their own area as well as further afield.
Am I too old or too young to join?
Our community is strictly for over 18s. The majority of our members are between 25 and 45 years old, but there are plenty over 50+ and 60+. You're almost guaranteed to meet others in your same phase and stage of life, and the sense of belonging and connection that comes from that is what MySoulSistas is all about.
What is included in the membership?
Our once-off membership fee gives you full access to our members-only app. Our app is designed to provide you with an immersive community experience both online and offline. You'll be able to chat, share and connect with other members in our Groups and Discussion Forums under specific topics that encourage you to share. Things like mental health, bucket list items, travel ideas and dedicated chat groups for moms are some of the types of forums available. You'll also be able to see upcoming events and book tickets within the app, purchase exclusive merch and get access to our partner promo codes.
Can I bring my kids with to events?
Unless a meet up is described as a "bring your kids along" type of meet up, then the short answer is no. At the core of why MySoulSistas exists is to prioritise ourselves - making time for connection and friendships that fill your own cup. Having said that, there are specific "Mommy and Me" meet ups where little ones are encouraged to be a part of the fun.
